Each bootcamp focuses on a specific, industry-relevant skill area, whether technical or business-focused. Participants can expect:
Practical instruction from experienced industry professionals
Clear learning goals for each week
Hands-on work and guided practice
Feedback and discussion during live sessions
Exercises between sessions
Curriculum is developed in-house and reviewed with guidance from our advisory board to reflect current industry realities across both technical and business disciplines.
-
Bootcamps are taught by paid instructors with real-world experience in the game industry.
We believe:
Teaching is work
Expertise should be respected
Quality education requires fair compensation
Instructors are selected for both skill and ability to teach in a supportive, inclusive environment.
-
Bootcamps are not designed to end in isolation. Participants will:
Produce portfolio-ready work
Present projects to peers, mentors, or industry partners
Gain practical understanding and expand their professional network
Our goal is not just skill development, but visibility and connection. Whether you're an early-career professional or a seasoned expert, these opportunities help your work be seen and create meaningful industry connections.

Bootcamps: Included with a $60/year Humans in Games membership
There are no hidden fees and no pay-to-play exposure. Membership fees help keep the program accessible; sponsorships and partnerships help cover instructor costs.
To ensure the best learning experience, bootcamp cohorts are kept intentionally small. Participants apply and are selected for each bootcamp, allowing instructors to provide personalized feedback and meaningful interaction. As our community grows, we plan to run multiple sessions of the same bootcamp simultaneously, ensuring that no one gets left out and every participant receives the attention they deserve, not lost in a cohort of 100+ students.
-
Bootcamps are collaborative learning spaces. We ask participants to:
Show up respectfully and on time
Engage in good faith
Support fellow learners
Follow our community guidelines
We do not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or exploitative behavior.
-
To set clear expectations:
Bootcamps do not guarantee employment
They are not replacements for full-time education
They are not unpaid labor programs
They are not pay-to-play exposure platforms
They are structured opportunities to learn, grow, and be seen.
-
As Humans in Games grows, bootcamps will connect into:
Developer showcases
Accessible job fairs
A human-centered job board
Ongoing community and mentorship opportunities
Bootcamps are the starting point, not the end.

Nuestros bootcamps se impartirán inicialmente en inglés. Sin embargo, nuestro objetivo es ofrecerlos en varios idiomas en el futuro, para que más personas de todo el mundo puedan acceder y aprender en su lengua materna.m description
